Translate chat messages automatically with AI
Auto-translation helps you chat with subscribers even if you don’t speak their language. SendPulse translates incoming messages into your language and translates your replies into the subscriber's language before sending them.
For example, if a subscriber messages you in Spanish, you can read their messages and reply in English, and the subscriber will receive your replies in Spanish.
Let’s talk about how to turn on auto-translation in a chat and reply to subscribers in your preferred language.
Turn on auto-translation
Auto-translation requires available credits in OpenAI models. Connect your personal API keys in your account settings. This feature is available to all invited users who have access to chat replies.
Go to the Conversations section and find a chat with a subscriber. In the input field, turn on the auto-translation toggle.
SendPulse analyzes previous messages in the chat to detect the subscriber's language and shows the language pair next to the toggle.
To set or change the source language manually, click it in the first pair next to the toggle, then choose a language from the list. To set or change the target language, select it in the second pair.
Reply to subscribers in your language
With auto-translation enabled, you can type your reply in your language and click Send. SendPulse will translate your reply into the subscriber's language and then send it.
To see what your message says in the source language, turn off the auto-translation toggle.
The original text of your sent messages is stored only in your browser.
