For the Comment on your post and Story mention triggers, Instagram allows you to send a flow only with one message and one button or with several quick replies within 24 hours.

If a user replies or clicks a button, they will become a bot subscriber, and you will be able to send them messages without these limitations. Make sure to encourage users to continue the conversation to maintain contact.

Story mention

You can run a chatbot flow for a user who tagged your account in their Story.

To go through your flow, the user who tagged you must have a public account, and their Instagram Story must be visible to everyone.

Click Story mention in the Instagram section. To activate the trigger, turn on the Instagram toggle. To fire the trigger again, click Edit trigger.

To ensure that your message is relevant, we recommend tailoring it to specific content that users interact with.

Сlick Edit the flow, go to the builder, and add the required elements to your flow.

At the start of your flow, you can only add the Message element with text and one button or quick reply. When a follower clicks your button or sends a reply, you will be able to send more messages to them.

Comment on your post

You can run a chatbot flow for a user who leaves a comment under any or specific Instagram post.

You can use this flow to reply to common customer inquiries about your pricing, product availability, delivery, and more.

To ensure that your message is relevant, we recommend tailoring it to specific content that users interact with.

Click Create a new trigger on the left.

Select Comment on your post in the settings.

Posts and keywords

You can also add a keyword that will run your flow. To do this, select Specific comment text, and enter the keyword. If you want any post comment to trigger your flow, select Any text.

The system recognizes individual words and phrases as commands, for example, hi, price, working hours, how much does it cost. The maximum keyword size is 32 characters.

Public comment replies

You can also set up and customize your comment replies and send them randomly.

Select the Public reply checkbox, and enter a text that will be randomly sent as a reply to a comment.

We recommend adding multiple comment reply options because Instagram can limit the activity of accounts that reply to comments using the same text.

In the Throttling section, specify a throttle interval.

Comment on your live video

You can run a chatbot flow for a user who leaves a comment during your Instagram live.

You can use this flow to reply to common customer inquiries about the product you promote, pricing, availability, and more.

To ensure that your message is relevant, we recommend tailoring it to specific content that users interact with.

Click Create a new trigger on the left.

Select Comment on your live video in the settings on the left. Enter a keyword.

The system recognizes individual words and phrases as commands, for example, hi, price, working hours, how much does it cost. The maximum keyword size is 32 characters.
