Run a flow when a user mentions you in a Story
Your Instagram chatbot can react when someone mentions your profile in their Story, tagged your account using @. This helps you greet users, thank them for the mention, send offers, and run personalized flows automatically.
In this article, we will talk about how the Story mention trigger works and how to set it up.
You can use the Welcome message, Standard reply, and Unsubscribe from bot standard triggers in any chatbot. To create your own triggers, use keywords and Automation 360 events.

Instagram allows you to send a flow within 24 hours. It can only include one message and one button or multiple quick replies.
If a user replies or taps a button, they will subscribe to your chatbot. Afterward, you can continue messaging them without these limits. To keep the conversation going, encourage users to reply.
Go to your chatbot and click Story mention in the Instagram section. To activate the trigger, turn on the Instagram toggle. To fire the trigger again, click Edit trigger.
To go through your flow, the user who tagged you must have a public account, and their Instagram Story must be visible to everyone.
To ensure that your message is relevant, we recommend tailoring it to specific content that users interact with.
Сlick Edit the flow, go to the builder, and add the required elements to your flow.
At the start of your flow, you can only add the Message element with text and one button or quick reply. When a follower clicks your button or sends a reply, you will be able to send more messages to them.
