Change a student's login credentials

If a student is unable to access their account, you can reset their password and send the new one by email.

In this article, we will talk about how to change students’ login credentials.

In the Courses section, open your course and go to the Students tab. Find the student on the list, click the three dots on the right, and select Change login and password.

In the modal window, set the student’s new login credentials.

Once you change your student’s login and password, they will no longer be able to log in using their old credentials.

New login

Enter the student’s new email address. This will be their new login.

Your student's original email address will remain in their card. All notifications and other messages, including automated ones, go to the new email address.

New password Enter a new password manually or generate it automatically using the arrow button.

If needed, select the Send the password to the student’s email address checkbox.
